Congressman Blake Moore, who represents Utah’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently addressed several issues on his official Twitter account, including healthcare regulations, constituent engagement, and a moment of silence for victims of a tragedy in Michigan.

On November 18, 2025, Moore commented on challenges facing Medicare and Medicaid patients due to outdated regulations. He stated, “Out-of-date red tape has kneecapped Medicare and Medicaid patients’ ability to effectively use online booking platforms for their health services. These platforms are regulated by ambiguous pre-Internet Age laws that complicate booking for providers and limit innovation and”.

Later that day, Moore invited constituents to participate in an upcoming telephone town hall meeting. In his tweet from November 18, he wrote: “Spend your lunch hour with me at our next telephone town hall on Thursday at noon! I will provide an update on the current state of play in Washington and answer your questions. Dial in at 833-305-1678.”

On November 19, Moore expressed gratitude toward colleagues for organizing a moment of silence in the House of Representatives following a tragedy at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc. He posted: “I am grateful to my Michigan colleagues, in particular @repkmr, for organizing a moment of silence on the House Floor, honoring victims of the tragedy at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc. My heart continues to ache and go out to those affected, and I”.

Blake Moore began serving as Utah’s 1st district representative after succeeding Rob Bishop in 2021. Born in Ogden, Utah in 1980, Moore is currently 42 years old and resides in Salt Lake City. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005.
