Congressman Blake Moore, representing Utah’s 1st district since 2021, has recently shared his thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. Moore, who was born in Ogden, Utah, and currently resides in Salt Lake City, continues to engage with key issues as part of his congressional duties.

On July 8, 2025, Congressman Moore expressed his appreciation for Commissioner Bisignano’s insights during the Social Security and Work & Welfare Subcommittee Hearing. He highlighted the importance of addressing cyberattacks and modernizing Social Security records. Moore noted that “Half of all medical records received by state disability determination services are received via https://t.co/zOi94BSW3N”.

Two days later, on July 10, 2025, Moore acknowledged a tribute to Frank Layden by Lee Benson. He described it as “An awesome tribute to the iconic Frank Layden by Lee Benson.”

Later that day, Moore addressed the issue of delays in Medicare coverage for breakthrough technologies. He stated that seniors often wait several years for Medicare coverage after FDA authorization. In response to this delay, he announced his leadership in legislation aimed at providing a clear roadmap for Medicare coverage of innovative devices. His goal is to ensure that seniors benefit from these advancements sooner. As he tweeted: “I’m leading legislation that ensures our most innovative devices have a clear roadmap to Medicare coverage so our seniors can reap the benefits sooner.”
