Blake Moore announces major rural health funding and reflects on legislative successes

Congressman Blake Moore, who represents Utah’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, announced on social media a significant federal investment for Utah’s rural health sector and reflected on legislative achievements from the past year.

On December 30, 2025, Moore posted: “Great news for Utah! As part of a $50B nationwide investment, the Working Families Tax Cuts’ Rural Health Transformation Program is awarding Utah over $195M! This will expand health services, support our rural clinical workforce, modernize health care infrastructure and https://t.co/mIeQgYacQ2”. Reflecting on the year’s accomplishments, Moore wrote on January 1, 2026: “2025 was a busy and exciting year for Team Moore! We passed monumental pro-growth and pro-family tax legislation, increased access to health care, supported our military community, and much more. Blake Moore has represented Utah’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Rob Bishop in 2021. Born in Ogden in 1980 and currently residing in Salt Lake City, Moore graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005.
