Congressman Blake Moore, who represents Utah’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on social media on April 16 and 17, 2026, highlighting his legislative priorities and recent collaborations.

On April 16, Moore wrote about his ongoing commitment to children and families: “Supporting children and families is one of my top focuses in Congress. Thank you, @FLOTUS for meeting with us and highlighting the importance of quality foster care and how we can support youth who are transitioning to adulthood. I’ve worked on this for over 12 years with the https://t.co/ed0IrgqqkS” (April 16, 2026).

Later that day, he addressed environmental concerns related to Utah’s Great Salt Lake: “Investing now to preserve and protect the Great Salt Lake will save taxpayers from future calamity. I look forward to continued collaboration with @POTUS on his budget request for a key Utah priority. https://t.co/koO8psrS3I” (April 16, 2026).

On April 17, Moore discussed workforce challenges at local depots: “Our depots desperately need talent, but a slow, bureaucratic hiring process prevents them from hiring the best of the best. I was proud to work with @SenatorLankford last year to secure a critical policy change in the FY26 NDAA, which will make it easier for the Ogden Air” (April 17, 2026).

Moore has served as representative since replacing Rob Bishop in Congress in 2021. Born in Ogden in 1980 and currently residing in Salt Lake City, Moore graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in 2005.
