Congressman Blake Moore, who represents Utah’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted on his social media accounts about recent community events and recognition received by his office.

On August 21, 2025, Moore shared his participation in a local event: “I was honored to join the commissioners in the Box Elder County parade where we walked in remembrance of the two fallen officers, Sergeant Lee Sorenson and Officer Eric Estrada. The community’s tremendous response to this tragedy is what makes Northern Utah special.”

Later that day, Moore announced an award for his team: “Team Moore has won the @congressfdn 2025 Best of Constituent Service Award! Our primary focus has been and will always be constituent service. We put a strong emphasis on getting out into communities, engaging with Utahns, and being a consistent resource. Serving and representing” He followed up with information for constituents interested in learning more about the award: “Learn more about this award here: https://t.co/MnKRZYtevu”

Blake Moore has served as the representative for Utah’s 1st district since 2021, succeeding Rob Bishop. Born in Ogden, Utah in 1980 and currently residing in Salt Lake City, Moore graduated from the University of Utah in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
