Congressman Blake Moore, who represents Utah’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on September 15, 2025, addressing key legislative initiatives and issues affecting military personnel and rural healthcare.
In one post from September 15, Moore highlighted concerns about food insecurity among service members: “The Pentagon recently reported that nearly 26% of U.S. military personnel experienced food insecurity in 2023. No military member should have to choose between serving our country and providing food for their families. That’s why I’m supporting bipartisan, common-sense”.
He also directed followers to additional information about related legislation with a separate message on the same day: “Read more about this bill here: https://t.co/ldLCLS2Tfp”.
Later that evening, Moore addressed investments in rural healthcare: “Republicans in Congress are making the single largest investment in rural healthcare in American history with the Rural Health Transformation Fund. This $50 billion investment will strengthen rural communities by improving healthcare access, quality, and outcomes. We’re”.
Blake Moore has represented Utah’s 1st District since 2021 after succeeding Rob Bishop. He was born in Ogden, Utah in 1980 and currently resides in Salt Lake City. Moore graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005.
