Congressman Blake Moore, who represents Utah’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on his legislative work and local engagements through a series of posts on social media.

On July 30, 2025, Moore directed followers to additional information about recent legislation, stating, “Lean more about the FALCON Act here: https://t.co/5yS2EdAPXN”.

The following day, Moore described meetings with local leaders during a district work period. On July 31, he wrote, “Started off the district work period in Davis County meeting with commissioners, city officials, and constituents. I always look forward to hearing about Davis County’s current priorities and challenges, and it was great to stop by and share some of the work we’re doing in https://t.co/VtUfbcGNNm”.

On August 1, Moore highlighted his participation in congressional hearings focused on tax policy. He posted, “.@WaysandMeansGOP held 2 field hearings out west last weekend to talk to individuals who will directly benefit from the pro-family and pro-growth tax cuts we just passed. In Las Vegas, I spoke about the ways this bill gives back to American workers, businesses, and families by https://t.co/kehqPM3fA0”.

Blake Moore has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after succeeding Rob Bishop as representative for Utah’s 1st district. Born in Ogden in 1980 and currently residing in Salt Lake City at age 42, Moore graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005.
