Emma-Nnopu receives All-Big Sky Honorable Mention for basketball performance

Senior basketball player Antoniette Emma-Nnopu has been recognized with an All-Big Sky Honorable Mention for the 2025-26 season.

Emma-Nnopu scored a total of 405 points and collected 289 rebounds over the course of the season. She also recorded 57 steals and 39 blocks. During a game against Montana, she achieved a personal best of 28 points, while her highest rebound count in a single game was 16 against UC Davis. Emma-Nnopu reached double-digit points in 23 games and surpassed the 20-point mark six times. She also tallied nine double-doubles this season. In addition to her conference honor, she was named to the LMU Christmas Classic All-Tournament Team.

Emma-Nnopu led her team in several categories, including points per game (14.0), rebounds per game (10.0), free throws made (97), and blocks (39). Within the conference, she ranked first in field goal percentage, second in rebounding, and second in blocked shots.

Nationally, Emma-Nnopu placed among the top 50 players for double-doubles (42nd), total rebounds (24th), and rebounds per game (29th).
