U.S. Senator Mike Lee, who represents Utah and maintains offices across the state and in Washington, D.C., recently shared several posts on his official X account addressing voter ID laws and energy policy.
On March 18, 2026, Lee referenced a past position held by another senator: “I agree with Senator Chuck Schumer… from 30 years ago! Unfortunate that he no longer agrees with himself. Voter ID is just common sense. Pass the SAVE America Act.”
Later that same day, Lee praised former President Trump’s actions related to energy regulation: “Incredible leadership from President Trump cutting this 100-year-old red tape off American energy. I’ve been fighting for this very solution in the Senate for years — let’s keep cutting!” He also posted a link without additional comment: https://t.co/hVYxeXnQ0a.
According to his official website, Lee advocates for limited government, fiscal responsibility, energy independence, military strength, balanced budget amendments, term limits, and legislative action on public safety, health care and economic issues. The senator offers constituent services through multiple offices in Utah as well as Washington and regularly engages in legislative efforts addressing public safety, health care and economic issues.
