Rep. Ryan D. Wilcox, a member of the Utah House of Representatives, shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing recent terrorist attacks and expressing solidarity with the Jewish community.
On December 16, 2025, Wilcox posted: “In the emergency, we fall back on our training!”
The following day, December 17, 2025, he continued his commentary in response to ongoing violence: “We are not Jewish.
And yet, in light of the several terrorist attacks these past three days, we feel compelled to stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters in honor and reverence of all those who have once again been hunted by evil Jihadi and Trantifa #terrorists. “
Wilcox further described a personal gesture undertaken by his family: “So tonight, for the first time, we join you in lighting our own #Hanukkah #Menorah, and with you, raise our prayers to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob- the Hope of Israel, and the Everlasting Father of us all. We pray tonight that the Prince of Peace may bring a measure of “
Wilcox’s statements come amid reports of multiple terrorist attacks targeting Jewish communities within a three-day period. As a legislator from Utah’s House District 7 since 2021, Wilcox has previously addressed issues related to public safety and interfaith solidarity.
