This murder was a cowardly act of violence, an attack on champions of freedom like Charlie, the students who gathered for” (September 10, 2025).
In a post early the following morning, Lee reiterated his admiration for Kirk and mourned his loss: “Charlie Kirk stood for truth and freedom.
He was assassinated in an evil act of cowardice.
I will miss him. This country will miss him. And Charlie’s patriotic vision of America will win.” (September 11, 2025).
