Congressman Blake Moore has been appointed as Co-Chair of the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus for the 119th Congress. He will be joined by Congressman Aaron Bean from Florida and Congressman Pete Sessions from Texas. The caucus aims to collaborate with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to reduce wasteful government spending, remove unnecessary regulations, and reorganize inefficient federal agencies.
Congressman Moore expressed his dedication to addressing national debt and eliminating wasteful spending. "On the House Ways and Means and Budget committees, I have been laser-focused on addressing our crippling national debt, rooting out wasteful government spending, and getting our fiscal house back in order," said Congressman Moore. He emphasized the potential of the newly established Department of Government Efficiency in identifying inefficiencies within the government.
Congressman Bean highlighted the severity of national debt, which he noted has surpassed $36 trillion. "Our national debt has surpassed a staggering $36 trillion and should be a wakeup call for all Americans," he stated. Bean underscored the caucus's intention to collaborate with key figures such as President Trump, Elon Musk, and Vivek Ramaswamy in efforts to reform federal operations.
Sessions focused on combating waste within government operations based on findings from a report by the GAO that revealed over $2.7 trillion in fraud since 2003. "As Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Federal Workforce, it has been my priority to identify and stop ongoing waste, fraud, and abuse in our government," said Sessions.
