The Weber State men’s track and field team will travel to Stanford, California to compete in the Stanford Invitational on April 3 and 4. The competition will be held at Cobb Track and Angell Field.

The event is set to start at 9:30 a.m. on Friday with the men’s javelin, followed by track events beginning at 10 a.m. The meet brings together collegiate athletes for early season competition.

Participation in invitationals such as this gives student-athletes an opportunity to test their performance against strong opponents from other universities. These meets often serve as preparation for upcoming conference championships and provide valuable experience for team members.

After returning from Stanford, Weber State will host the WSU Spring Classic on April 9. This event will be held in conjunction with the University of Utah Spring Classic scheduled for April 10.

These back-to-back competitions are expected to help the Wildcats continue building momentum during their outdoor season.
