Weber State announced on Apr. 19 that its women’s golf team will conclude the regular season at the Big Sky Conference Women’s Golf Championships, taking place at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona over three days.
The event begins Monday morning with the Wildcats teeing off in the first groups starting at 7:30 am Mountain Daylight Time. Teams will play 18 holes each day, with the final round scheduled for Wednesday. The Blue Course at Wigwam is a par-71 course measuring 5,981 yards.
Sofia Fuenmayor, Cala Korman, Emily Song, Braylyn Bayer and Adley Nelson are set to compete for Weber State on Monday. Top player Jade Gruher is not in the starting lineup due to injury but remains on the championship roster as a substitute if her health allows. Gruher recently earned All-Big Sky Second Team honors.
Fuenmayor and Korman also received recognition from the conference by earning Honorable Mention honors as part of this year’s awards announcement on Sunday.
During the 2025-26 season, Weber State won three tournament titles: Utah Fall Intercollegiate, Sun Mountain Intercollegiate and Lady Thunderbird Invitational. The program has achieved four consecutive top-three finishes at the conference tournament—third place from 2022 through 2024 and runner-up last year in 2025. The team’s last Big Sky title was in 2001.
Live scoring for this week’s championship will be available online.
