The Weber State softball team named its field Mary Kay Amicone Field at Miller Park before the final home game on Apr. 18, where the Wildcats lost to the Montana Lady Griz 11-3.

The naming of the field was made possible by a donation from the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation. The day also featured recognition for four senior players: Cali McCraw, Abby Grundy, Riley Whalen, and Tori Rey.

Despite a late rally in their last home appearance, Weber State could not overcome Montana’s lead. After this matchup, the Wildcats are set to play at BYU on Tuesday before resuming their Big Sky Conference schedule next weekend against Northern Colorado.

Fans can watch all home and Big Sky games on ESPN+.
