Weber State Wildcats defeated Utah State Aggies, 11-7, in a comeback victory on April 28 in Logan, Utah. The Wildcats overcame an early six-run deficit by scoring consistently in the final four innings and collecting a total of 19 hits.

The game began with Utah State taking the lead after Erickson hit a solo home run in the second inning. The Aggies extended their advantage to 6-0 by the third inning. Weber State’s response started when Taegan Smith hit a solo home run to center field in the fourth inning, sparking a rally that saw them add another run in the fifth to narrow the gap to 6-4.

Raina Navarro relieved Joslynn Veltien as pitcher for Weber State and threw two scoreless innings during the fourth and fifth frames, helping halt Utah State’s momentum.
