Weber State women’s basketball announced on Apr. 28 the addition of Adria Lincoln to its team.
Lincoln, a 6-foot-1 guard from Monroe, Washington, is transferring from the University of Montana after two seasons with the Lady Griz. The announcement was made by head coach Jenteal Jackson.
During her freshman year at Montana, Lincoln played in 17 games and averaged 5.4 minutes per game, contributing an average of 2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. As a sophomore, she appeared in 32 games with 13 starts, averaging over 16 minutes per game along with averages of 4.3 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest. She was one of seven players on her team to make at least twenty three-pointers during the most recent season.
Jackson said, “Adria is long, athletic & agile forward who can stretch the floor. Her ceiling is exceptionally high and we are thrilled to add her to our roster. We look forward to her development and progress here at Weber State. We can’t wait to pour into her and see all that she is capable of!”
Lincoln graduated from Monroe High School in Washington in 2023 as a four-time first-team All-Wesco selection and four-time team MVP who served as captain for three years. In her senior year she averaged twenty-five points and over thirteen rebounds per game while setting multiple school records for scoring and rebounding performances.
