Weber State women’s basketball announced on May 4 the addition of Favour Onoh to its team. Head coach Jenteal Jackson said the new player will join the Wildcats for the upcoming season.
Onoh is a 6-foot-5 center from Enuge, Nigeria. She transfers from Oklahoma State, where she played in five games during the 2025-26 season. In those appearances, Onoh recorded six minutes and four rebounds against Langston, two rebounds against Prairie View, and added two points with an assist and a rebound against Mississippi Valley.
Jackson said, “We are looking forward to all that Favour will bring to our team and Weber State. She’s an impact player who adds a lot of length and will without a doubt affect the game on both sides of the ball. We are excited to coach her and watch Favour’s growth and success here as a Wildcat. She’s an incredible addition to our team.”
Before joining Oklahoma State, Onoh missed the 2024-25 campaign due to injury but previously competed for the University of the Philippines in 2023-24. During that season, she averaged 10.7 points and 13.9 rebounds per game along with notable defensive statistics such as blocks and steals. She was named UAAP Season 86 Rookie of the Year after helping her team secure third place for their first podium finish since 2008.
Onoh also set a UAAP single-game record by grabbing 30 rebounds in an overtime win over Santo Tomas while scoring 14 points in that contest.
