The Wildcats established control early in the game, with Hannah Robbins scoring twice to give her team a 4-0 lead. Fui Niumeitolu closed out the first quarter with a three-pointer, resulting in a 19-5 lead for Weber State. The team’s defense limited Portland State to just one successful field goal out of thirteen attempts during the opening period.

Robbins continued her strong performance into the second quarter by adding a layup and two three-pointers. Sydney White also contributed with jump shots at both ends of the quarter. Despite efforts from Portland State’s Chicken, Weber State’s defense remained effective and increased their lead to 43-20 by halftime.
