The Weber State women’s track and field team will compete at Utah Valley University on March 25 as they begin their outdoor season. The meet is set to take place at the Hal Wing Track and Field facility in Orem, Utah.

The UVU Invitational will start early in the morning, with the women’s shot put scheduled for 8 a.m. Jumping events are expected to begin at 10 a.m., followed by running events starting at 12:30 p.m.

This event marks the start of the Wildcats’ outdoor competitions after placing fifth at the 2026 Big Sky Indoor Championships, where they earned a total of 42.5 points.

Following their appearance in Orem, the Wildcats plan to travel to Stanford, California, for the Stanford Invitational taking place April 3-4.

The opening of outdoor season gives athletes an opportunity to build on their indoor performance and prepare for upcoming meets.

Weber State’s softball team ended its season with a loss to Northern Colorado at the Big Sky Tournament. The Wildcats started strong but could not hold off their opponents’ offense. The team’s final record stands at 14-42.
