The Weber State women’s track and field team finished the final week of its regular season with several notable individual achievements at the BYU Robison Invitational in Provo, according to a May 2 announcement. The meet served as the last competition before the upcoming Big Sky Championships.

Athletes from Weber State earned multiple first-place finishes and secured spots on the school’s all-time top 10 lists during this event. Charlotte Wilkinson recorded a personal best time of 2:06.90 in the 800 meters, marking it as the second-fastest in school history and just .02 seconds short of setting a new record. Her performance is also currently ranked third in the Big Sky Conference for this season, potentially qualifying her for the NCAA First Round meet.

Hannah Bailey achieved a seasonal best in the 1500 meters after converting her mile run time, which may also earn her qualification for NCAA competition. In field events, Alyssa Hansen Freestone won first place in hammer throw with a career-best distance of 188-11, making it both second-best all-time at Weber State and second-best so far this year within their conference.

Freshman Lucy Harris set a freshman record while finishing second overall in heptathlon with a total score of 4,959 points—placing fourth on Weber State’s all-time list. Abby Egbert followed closely behind with her own career best of 4,409 points for another second-place finish. Senior Abby Triplett matched her seasonal high jump best by clearing 5-07.25 to win that event.

Chloe Glines made it into school history’s top ten javelin throws with a mark of 139-10.25. Meanwhile, Danielle Brow represented Weber State at Stanford’s Payton Jordan Invitational where she ran a time of 10:31.58 in the women’s steeplechase—currently seventh fastest among Big Sky competitors this year.

The Wildcats will next compete at the Big Sky Championships scheduled for May 13–16 in Portland.
