Weber State women’s track and field to host WSU Spring Classic on April 10

The Weber State women’s track and field team will host the WSU Spring Classic at Chick Hislop Track and Field at Stewart Stadium on April 10.

The event is significant for both athletes and supporters, offering a chance for the community to watch local collegiate competition. The meet will begin with the Women’s Hammer Throw at 11 a.m., followed by track events starting at 4:30 p.m. with the Women’s 100-meter hurdles. Senior recognition is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Admission to the meet is free through the northeast entrance of Stewart Stadium, and parking will be available in the W4 Lot located north of the stadium. The home meet provides an opportunity for fans to support their team without any cost barriers.

Following this event, Weber State will participate in conjunction with the U of U Spring Classic on April 11 in Salt Lake City at McCarthey Family Track and Field Complex. Events there are set to start at 10 a.m., beginning with the Women’s Heptathlon Long Jump.

Looking ahead, Wildcats athletes will travel again for a split weekend that includes competing in both the Bryan Clay Invitational from April 16-18 in Azusa, California, and the Oregon Team Challenge from April 17-18 in Eugene, Oregon.
